If you are looking for Salish Matter, as far as I’m aware the channel Jordan Matter is the best place to find her. It's her dad’s YouTube account. His About section mentions: “My daughter has taken over my channel”. Pretty much all the content is based on his daughter Salish and her friends.

Overall Rating

A little bit cringey, however good quality, wholesome content for 6 - 9 and 10+ year olds.

Suitability Rating

There’s quite the broad range of different content on offer. My daughter tends to watch the gymnastics videos, but she also likes the more random content. Honestly it's hard to classify what category they fall under, but it's a mix of challenges and inspirational / emotional stuff.

I think there’s good intentions behind everything they do and their content is definitely suitable for kids ages 6 - 9 and 10+.

If I were to be critical, I would say a lot of the content is from the perspective of a rich / wealthy family. Whilst entertaining, I don’t think it’s representational for the majority of families. A lot of these Youtubers live in mansions and go on shopping sprees with their parents credit cards. You could argue that this is aspirational in a way and I’d agree with you, however I feel a lot of it will be fantasy for other people / children.

Whatever way you look at it, the content is unlikely to offend anyone, so watch away!

Annoyance Rating

Jordan Matter describes himself as a “cringe dad” and I’d tend to agree. A lot of the content is a bit cringey. It also seems to be staged or fake / setup. You might find it annoying, but it’s unlikely your kids will.

The “quick cuts” are quite frequent on most of the videos, but honestly none of it is overly annoying. You should be able to watch it without a problem.
