Is Rebecca Zamolo suitable for children?

Overall Rating

Should be fine for kids aged 6 - 9 and older, the main audience likely girls. I’d be surprised if any boys watch her stuff. Puts out the usual YouTube content, unlikely to offend anyone. Incredibly annoying, constant shouting and being over the top.

Suitability Rating

So even though I find Rebecca Zamolo incredibly annoying, her content is unlikely to offend anyone, which is good news. Rebecca Zamolo is suitable for kids aged 6 - 9 and older. I’d say her audience will likely be nearly all girls. Content wise, It’s your usual stuff that every YouTuber puts out nowadays. Expect to see videos on:

• I survived some scenario
• Birth to death
• Someone or something controlling her life
• 24 hour challenges
• Testing products from Amazon

A lot of her content features her daughter Zadie and husband Matt Slays. It’s family orientated, but it's pretty much pure entertainment. A lot of it feels staged / fake and it's unlikely to teach your kids anything useful.

However her content wasn’t always like it is now. What I like to do with all the creators I review, is look back at their very first videos. The style and content of her earlier videos is VERY different to what it is like now. They definitely have a young adult theme to them. Probably not suitable for 6 - 9 year olds. However that sort of content was from 9 - 10 years ago, so it’s unfair to base anything on her older content, as what she produces now is totally different.

Annoyance Rating

Quite literally the most annoying YouTuber I’ve had the displeasure of watching so far. Rebecca Zamolo is constantly shouting, constantly over exaggerating and just so loud. I’d be surprised if she doesn’t get a sore throat all the time. She is the definition of “YouTuber Voice”. Worst thing about it, is that it obviously works. She commands my daughter’s attention. I have to leave the room, it's just too much. Seems harsh, but it’s true.

Merchandise and Sponsorships

Rebecca Zamolo does have a merchandise store, you can find it at rebeccazamolo dot com. It's the usual items, clothes etc. I’ve not seen her advertise it during any of the videos I’ve seen, but then maybe I’ve just not seen the ones that she does.
