Stay Wild consists of Ben Azelart and Cam Huff. You’ll likely see appearances with Alexa Rivera and Jeremy Hutchins

Overall Rating

Creative content but unfortunately falls short due to the silliness, which sometimes borderlines on stupidity. Annoying for parents to watch too. Suitable for kids aged 10 and over, but don’t be surprised if your younger kids want to watch them.

Suitability Rating

I’d say Stay Wild is suitable for kids 10 years and older, however I wouldn't be surprised if kids aged 6 - 9 watched them as well. The reason why I’d recommend them for older kids is that they are very shouty, overreacting to lots of things and making weird faces and noises. I can see this type of behaviour being picked up by younger kids. There’s a difference between kids just being kids and then acting like they do. It’s not a good look in my opinion. Cam is the main offender for this type of thing, Ben is just more overly dramatic.

They can also go a bit overboard with things. Some videos have them trying to destroy stuff with household items, I’ve even seen them using kitchen knives. In one video they picked up a knife with their teeth (handle end). Definitely not something you want your kids doing.

Content wise some of it is quite good in terms of creativity. They like to make or build things, painting makes an appearance quite often and so do art and creativity types videos. It’s different to what a lot of other YouTubers do, which is just hidden room challenges it seems. So I have to give them credit for this. Its original content.

Their channel is called Stay Wild, so you have to acknowledge that some of the content is going to be a bit on the wild side. If they could just tone down the shouting and silliness. They’d be on to a winner.

Annoyance Rating

Ben and Cam are pretty annoying. I’ve struggled to sit and watch them. They’ve both got the “YouTuber Voice” - that loud, fake sense of urgency. Ben can be quite shouty, however Cam is at times unbearable. Constantly shouting and making ridiculous strange noises, which then get edited and made louder and distorted. As usual, kids will probably love it.

Another thing that really annoys me is the amount of cuts in their videos - where the camera angle is different or zoomed in. There’s a cut almost every second. This can’t be any good for the attention spans of kids?

Merchandise and Sponsorships

I’ve not seen them advertising anything on their videos. Can’t see any links on their YouTube channel either. Probably safe to say your kids won’t be begging you to buy their merchandise.

My Daughter's Opinion

“I think they are really funny and they are very creative. I like Cam because he makes funny noises”.
