Kindly Keyin plays a range of mobile / tablet games and also PC games. You probably won’t have heard of them as they aren’t mainstream games.
Overall Rating
It’s refreshing to see a Youtuber that isn’t super annoying. Kindly Keyin plays games and gives a narration. That’s pretty much all there is to it. Should be suitable for kids 6 - 9 and older.
Suitability Rating
Kindly Keyin makes videos where he plays on a lot of PC games and mobile / tablet games (cell phone games for the Americans reading this). The vast majority of videos I’ve seen are where he plays on tablet games. I checked out his channel and he’s got plenty of PC games on there, just not really popular ones.
I have seen him play a game called Baldi’s Basics, which is a bizarre game. I think it’s a bit of a meme / parody of old school edutainment, but if you anger Baldi he chases after you, which might be scary for younger kids.
The content is generally fine, from what I’ve seen there’s no bad language, It’s just him playing games and narrating along with it.
What I do have a minor issue with is the mobile / tablet games are the ones where your progress is gated behind buying credits / coins or watching adverts. These types of games can get addictive and end up costing someone, usually the parents a fortune in micro transactions. Also if your child wants to play the games, it just means more screen time, but this time it’s on a phone. Make of that what you will, however it’s not something I’m keen on.
With this in mind, I’d say Kindly Keyin is suitable for kids of 6 - 9 years old at a minimum. Make sure you’ve got a password setup for purchases on your phone for the Play Store / App store if your kids use your phone.
Annoyance Rating
Given that Kindly Keyin is a little bit older (you can Google his age, I’m not about to drop that in here) than your average Youtuber, and a bit more sensible, you don’t get the typical “Youtuber voice” with his videos - Hallelujah! He basically narrates himself playing games, which can be a little annoying as he’s literally telling you what you’ve just watched, but it’s done in a way that obviously caters for kids - which makes for great entertainment, just not for adults.
If you can look past this then I don’t see why you’d have any problems with him.
