Unspeakable has quite a few related channels where he and his friends do other things, such as play games and react to videos. There's a good chance your kids will have watched these other channels. This review attempts to cover Unspeakable as a whole.
Overall Rating
Just 3 guys, with too much money, doing crazy things. By that I mean, buying a portable house from Amazon, kitting it out and then smashing it up and setting a BBQ on fire. Or filling his house with packing peanuts and jumping off the balcony into them. Or how about going to a fast food restaurant, taking drive through orders, messing stuff up whilst giving thousands of dollars worth of tech and items away to people.
A lot of it is crazy. But some of it is funny and entertaining even when watching as an adult. These guys give away lots of free stuff, but on the other hand they also destroy a lot of stuff too.
I'm often conflicted as I don't want to give my daughter the impression you can just do these kinds of things, when in reality a lot of people don't have the money to buy houses, cars, and then destroy them.
Suitability Rating
Without a doubt, Unspeakable isn't suitable for young kids (younger than 5) The things he / they get up to isn't appropriate. Older kids should fare better as there's more of a fun / crazy angle to his content. Unspeakable and his friends are living out life exactly how you'd think 3 young men with probably crazy amounts of money would live their lives. There's often a lot of screaming, laughing and doing wild things.
I think as long as you set the expectations to your kids that you can't break things and act crazy, then they should be fine to watch Unspeakable.
Annoyance Rating
I mentioned at the start that Unspeakable has a few other YouTube channels, one of which is UnspeakablePlays. This one, as you might guess, is him playing video games such as Minecraft, WobblyLife and Roblox etc. These ones can get quite silly, shouty, loud and annoying. A lot of the 3/5 annoyance rating comes from the video games footage. He’s definitely got the “always on, loud, big energy” YouTuber voice.
There's a good chance your kid found unspeakable from his Minecraft videos, so one to bear in mind.
My Daughter's Opinion
"I like him because he's really funny. I don't like the scary videos."
