Beast Reacts is a channel from MrBeast. It looks like they’ve stopped uploading videos for now, as the last video was over 11 months ago
Overall Rating
Odd bits of innuendo and swearing which is bleeped out, but overall quite entertaining and enjoyable. Also not annoying so you should be able to watch along if needed. Best for children aged 6 - 9 and older
Suitability Rating
Generally speaking the content from Beast Reacts is fine. The content I’ve watched has been:
- Try not to laugh challenges,
- Funniest animals,
- Fail videos etc
Where MrBeast and his friends will watch viral videos from TikTok, Instagram and YouTube and react to them, usually by laughing. I’d say Beast Reacts is suitable for children 6 - 9 years and older.
There is the odd time where someone might swear, which is bleeped out and there’s also the rare bit of innuendo. An example of which would be a try not to laugh video where the intro had one of them saying (not verbatim, but close enough) “Look, what's up there?” and the response being “Deez Nuts”. Another was a video in which someone said “Ligma”. The website Urban Dictionary is your friend if you don’t know what those two phrases mean!
Luckily I’ve not seen / heard much of that type of content so I’d assume it’s more of a one off than a common theme in his videos. If you don’t mind your kids seeing that type of thing then they should be fine to watch. However the opposite could be your kids asking what certain words mean and if you don’t want to have that conversation with them, then it might be best to skip Beast Reacts until they are a bit older.
Annoyance Rating
I find MrBeast’s content from his main channel quite palatable if I’m honest. It’s more intriguing and thought provoking than the usual guff that get’s mass generated from other channels. Beast Reacts from what I’ve seen is more casual and silly, but I’ve not found myself being annoyed by any of it.
My daughter likes to watch the “Try not to laugh” challenge type videos and again, nothing to complain about. It’s good to be able to sit down and watch something we both enjoy together.
