Is Dude Perfect suitable for children?

Dude Perfect is their main channel. For outtakes, bloopers, fails etc you want their Dude Perfect Plus channel.

Overall Rating

5 dudes doing trick shots and wild sport or science based things. Suitable for everyone aged 6 and older.

Suitability Rating

Dude Perfect is suitable for anyone 6 or older. It’s not just kids, I think adults can watch and enjoy their content too.

Content wise it seems to have started off as 5 dudes doing trick shots and it's slowly moved onto bigger and wilder challenges. From doing trick shots with golf balls to throwing basketballs out of a moving aeroplane and trying to get them in a basket and model rocket battles, so many things! They also do a “Stereotypes” style of video, these are funny too.

I find it hard to believe that anyone would dislike anything like that, or even find it offensive. It’s pretty much all good. Definitely a channel the whole family could watch.

To be critical, some of it needs to be marked with a “Don’t try this at home” I could see younger kids (probably boys) getting some ideas. Throwing basketballs out of moving cars or using the recoil of a shotgun to move a ball - kinda high risk!

Annoyance Rating

Happy to report that these guys aren’t annoying. I’d guess they are in their 30s so all that annoying “YouTuber Voice” that a lot of the younger ones do, is not there at all. Yeah they can get a bit loud and shouty, but it's because they are genuinely excited about something. It's not all fake in a bid to get your attention like most of the other Youtubers do. 

I’d happily sit and watch them.

Merchandise and Sponsorships

Dude Perfect have a few things that they advertise. It depends on the video you watch but it will either be their “Dude Perfect App” which I think lets you watch extended versions of videos, although I don’t see any reason why you’d download an app. It will probably be used to sell you things.

The other is their merch store which is dudeperfect dot store. Standard merch stuff, t-shirts, hoodies etc. They also have a book, I’ve not read it so can’t comment on what it’s about.
