The Anazala Family is the main channel, they also have a Anazala Family Vlogs channel and an Arabic channel, which is called AnasalaFamily.
Overall Rating
Generic content that should keep your 3 - 5 and 6 - 9 year olds entertained. A little bit on the annoying side, but nothing you shouldn’t already be used to.
Suitability Rating
The content is fine in terms of suitability, you’re not gonna find anything that is inappropriate for your kids. It’s classic Youtube content, the same things as all the other channels pump out. Expect to see videos about:
- Building secret rooms
- Buying items from Amazon
- Hide and seek
- Saying Yes to my daughter
- Other random videos that I can’t really categorise
I’ve got the Anazala Family down as being suitable for 3 - 5 year olds and 6 - 9 year olds. I honestly don't think anyone older than this would be interested.
If I were to be critical about the videos, I’d say they are from the perspective of a very wealthy family. The about section on their youtube channel states the following:
“In each episode we attempt to solve a problem, that not only we, but all families encounter in their everyday lives.”
From the videos I’ve seen, I don’t think this could be any further from the truth. Everyday people with everyday lives aren’t letting their daughter go on a shopping spree or building hidden rooms in their huge houses.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s entertainment for your kids, but somewhat detached from reality in that not everyone has the Youtube advert dollars to do half the things they do.
Annoyance Rating
The Anazala family consists of 4 members. Husband and wife Anas and Asala and their two children Mila and Noah. For the most part it's the mum and dad and their daughter Mila.
Overall I’d say they are fairly annoying. The mum Asala has the “Youtuber voice”. It's not as pronounced, but it's still this annoying level of energy that they all must do in order to keep your kids attention. It’s not leave the room annoying, but I wish they’d just give it a break and just talk normally.
Merchandise
As far as I’m aware, I’ve not seen any sort of advertising or sponsored by segments on the videos I’ve watched with my daughter. You can count that as a good thing, since there’s nothing your kids will be asking you to buy them.
